ASUS has unveiled a new docking station for the Nexus 7 on their Japanese website and is expected to go on sale some time this month for 3,480 yen ($42).
The docking station uses the golden connectors on the side of the Nexus 7 to interface with it. It has a microUSB port on the back along with a 3.5mm audio jack, which lets you charge or connect the Nexus 7 to a computer as well as output audio from it.
There are a couple of provisos, though. The docking station only works if you have Android 4.2 installed on the Nexus 7 and if you want to output just audio from the 3.5mm jack on the back you will have to plug the docking station to a power outlet.
