If you’re after a slim, water resistant LTE tablet, running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but live outside of Japan, then the wait is finally over.
The Xperia Tablet Z is set to launch globally this quarter but there’s no official word yet on its price or which markets it will hit first (or simultaneously).
We do know it will be launched with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but will be later upgraded to 4.2.
The Tablet Z features a 10.1″ 1920 x 1200 WUXGA FullHD display rocking Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA engine 2, a slim profile at 6.9 mm, LTE and IP55 and IP57 certification, meaning it’s resistant to water submersion (up to a meter for no more than 30 minutes) and dust sealed.
Thanks, farhan for sending this in!
