Sony details the onboard entertainment apps of the PS4

The PlayStation 4 is just around the corner, with the latest Sony console slated for a US release on November 15.

All the popular video-on-demand services will be there, including Neflix, Hulu Plus, Redbox Instant and Amazon Instant Video, as well as NBA Game Time and NHL GameCenter LIVE.

The list goes on to include Sony’s in house Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited services, as well as Crackle, a VOD service affiliated with Sony Pictures Televison, Crunchyroll, a service which provides the latest anime series straight from Japan, VUDU, a Hulu alternative, YuppTV, dedicated providing some 150 Indian TV channels and movies, and EPIX, a VOD service for movies, documentaries, and music and comedy specials.

Meanwhile, Sony has also given us a look at the internal workings of the PS4. The following video shows off the integrated CPU-GPU processor alongside a separate secondary processor for standby operations, 8GB of RAM and 500GB internal storage, as well as a power block integrated right into the chassis.

Will you be getting a PlayStation 4 next week, or will you hold out a week longer for an Xbox One?
