The Matchday 1 of our Smartphones Champions League is now over and it’s time for Matchday 2. We have another batch of four games for you to vote on.
Today the four games of our tournament see the LG G2 vs.HTC One, Nokia Lumia 520 vs. LG Nexus 4, Sony Xperia Z vs Sony Xperia L and the Samsung Galaxy S DUOS vs the Nokia Asha 501.
Today’s opening game is quite interesting as LG and HTC face each other in a battle of flagship scale. It’s all up to you which one gets to continue its march forward – the aluminum HTC One or the extravagant LG G2.
Moving on to the Nokia Lumia 520 vs. LG Nexus 4 – a battle of pure Windows Phone 8 vs Android 4.4 KitKat. The Lumia 520 is Nokia’s highest selling WP8 device, while the Nexus 4 commenced the LG – Google partnership. Both phones are iconic, but only one will be moving forwards. The question is – which one?
Next match sees the Sony Xperia Z face its Xperia L sibling. The draw means that Sony is a guaranteed to get a second entrant into the Round of 16, but also that it will lose its first participant when the games are over. .
The final Matchday 2 game is between the Samsugn Galaxy S DUOS and the Nokia Asha 501. The Asha 501 is the only contender that doesn’t run the popular trinity of smartphone platforms, so it’ll be interesting to see if it can fight off the S DUOS in its very first match.
