Twitter for Android got treated to a significant update. The latest version of the app brings refreshed design and new features, including the ability to include images in direct messages.
With the abovementioned new functionality, Twitter aims to take users away from other popular apps such as Snapchat. The option is now prominently displayed for easier access too.
Improved timeline navigation with swiping gestures is now available to the app as well. Notifications have also been improved – users can now favorite profiles and receive alerts every time they tweet.
