People will always have the urge to try and find out what their friend from high school is doing. Whether it is a long lost friend or simply just trying to find another person’s website, it has become quite a task to try and find another person’s website. Though the internet has been growing, it is still quite tough to try and find another person’s website. Unless you have the exact URL, it is virtually impossible without these simple tips.
Facebook Is Always Helpful
When it comes to finding people, Facebook just might be the best option. All you will need to do is sign in and make sure that you know how to use the search features, well there’s nothing really there, just enter the person’s name in the search box above. Once you find them, it is then time to search their page and see if they have a section with their website. If you are not able to find it, you will probably have to message or add that person to get the information.
A Google Search
This is by far the easiest, fastest, and most effective method out there. However, it will take a lot of time for you to try and find the website since there are so many results. There will be millions of results and so it can be tough to really narrow it down. You will only be lucky if the person you are looking for has a unique name. However, if you are looking for someone with a common name like John Smith, you will have a very hard time trying to get what you need. Websites like pho.to can actually tell you who is behind a website,
Please note there are other limitations to this, if someone is using privacy protection for instance, it can make it difficult to know they are actually associated with that website by just “googling” or searching the whois database, of course there are lots of other ways to get this such as by questioning the WHOIS database but this can actually work if you know at least one website of that person and want to find out other websites owned by that person that are hosted on the server, reverse ip can do that, this website is a good place to start
Try Google+
Google+ is slowly becoming a bigger website and people need to realize that this is essentially the future of social networking. However, Facebook and Twitter are more than likely not going anywhere and so you should really think about focusing on Google+ more when it comes to trying to find a person’s website. Since Google+ is more on marketing and networking, you just might be able to find the person that you are looking for.
LinkedIn & Other Professional Sites
There are plenty of sites that will offer you a free service that will help you to search for people. Whether it is for business purposes or you are just looking to contact someone, you can use sites like LinkedIn or Manta to try and find them. However, these two sites are more focused on business owners and will not really give you much information on your long lost friend from middle school. That is why this method is only useful for those that need to find someone because of businesses.
