Even if you hate to be tagged as a lazy marketer, at certain point of your career you will realize that you are growing some traits that are invariably going to tag you as another lazy marketers in the making. Wondering what the traits are and how to get rid of them? Well, you need not have to worry as here we are going to sum up them so that you can save your career and the time of readers as well:

Exclamation: I know it is tough to believe but the reality is that not everybody may find your write-up exciting enough. So, do not force Exclamation marks all over the content just make the readers feel excited. If you are writing on something boring let it be; there is no point in faking it as something truly exciting and engaging. Lazy marketers often forget this. People are going to read the content first and if they find it good, they will give you credit in the form of social sharing, Likes, retweets etc.  And what I personally feel is that people care less for the punctuation and exclamation points. In short, forget about the short cut to success; rather focus on creating engaging content and people will start liking and sharing their love automatically.

Learn where to stop: Ask any lazy marketer about his company and you are going to waste ten minutes of your precious listening to the boring details passed along by that marketer. One of the prominent features of lazy marketers is that they do not know when to stop. When they are promoting the service, they remain oblivious of the fact that people in general are interested about the achievements of their company or other success stories; they are interested about the benefits that you are supposed to offer them. So in order to make them aware of the benefits of the service that you are going to offer, you need to be brief and to be point.

Avoid Grandiose: You are great and awesome; that is great but you simply cannot make us buy that theory. The thing is that when you say that you are the best in the profession, you are just running all your chances of convincing the audience. People are smart these days and that means, they are less likely to be tricked by using those worn out techniques. Rather than beating your own drum, you need feature what other people think about your service. This will work a lot better than direct promotion.

Do not follow others Blindly: It is good that you have been following and reading posts of other great minds. I hope by doing such thing, you will be able to add new dimension to existing marketing mix. However, the thing is that lazy marketers start following the advice of these great people so much so that they lose touch with the reality of things and eventually the whole marketing campaign stuck in a limbo. I hope, you definitely do not like this. So, do not follow the instructions of other blindly. Do your own math before reaching any conclusion.
