Apple celebrates 30 years of the Mac with a video shot entirely on the iPhone

Apple has been celebrating 30 years of the Mac since the past week. In case you didn’t notice, you just have to go to Apple’s website and you’ll find a collection of all the major Macs that were released in the past 30 years, along with anecdotes from famous artists who have used them to create many things over the years.

Now, Apple has released a new video called “1.24.14″, which marks the 30th anniversary of the Mac. In true Apple fashion, the video goes through people using, not just Macs, but also iOS devices in their daily life and how it has affected them. The interesting thing about this video is that it is shot all over the world using just the iPhone in a single day.

The trick here, as you’ll see in the Behind the Scenes video later, is that the videos were shot simultaneously around the world by different teams using iPhones and they were all uploaded to one location where they were combined, seemingly in one day. The video itself looks amazing and had it not been clarified that it was shot on an iPhone you’d have probably never guessed.

You can watch the full video below, with the Behind the Scenes video after that.
