Hisense Pulse comes to US in mid-November at under $99

Google TV keeps popping up everywhere we look, most recently from Chinese manufacturer, Hisense.

Google TV keeps popping up everywhere we look. Vizio and Sony have each released a Google TV set-top box with Google’s own Nexus Q delayed, but due any time now.  We just finished up with LG’s G2 Google TV and reports are coming in from Berlin that Samsung is currently showing off its Smart TV with Google TV at IFA 2012. We can now add Chinese manufacturer Hisense to the growing list of Google TV devices.

The Hisense Pulse will be available in the US in mid-November for “under $99″. It will, of course, run on Android OS and you can expect it to  feature an HDMI input and output, USB port, Ethernet port, IR blaster and a built-in Wi-Fi adapter.  The Pulse will be packaged with a double-sided remote with a full QWERTY keyboard on one side and a touch-pad on the other. Dedicated buttons for Netflix and Youtube can be seen just above the touch pad in the accompanying photos, which you’ll see first at Digital Trends.

We are lined up for a review sample in mid-October and will be sure to get you our review just as soon as we get our fingers on the Pulse.
